MUSINGS: I process through words, art and compassionate storytelling on the blog of this page. I write most often on the deep emotional experiences that unite us all…finding faith and light in the darkness of grief and trauma, compassion for those less fortunate and self-healing through acceptance, inner knowledge and spiritual truth.

GIVING: Founder of It Takes a Village Community Giving, a grassroots charity benefiting women and children in need local to Chester County, Pennsylvania. Through ‘Blessing Boxes’ (open access annonymous food boxes) and ‘Village Sponsorships’, we bring the goodwill of the community directly into the hands of single mothers and children in need. We focus on filling the ‘gap’ in social service offerings, delivering services in small but meaningful doses to those who either don’t fully qualify for more robust government programs, or for those who do and just need a quick lift. We often provide ‘whites’ (toiletries, paper products, cleaning supplies) not covered by public assistance, one time cash grants as well as gently used bedding, clothes and other items that benefit quality of life for all involved.
